Paris in 2 days - what to see

Looking at some suggestions for not crazy busy sites as I get super anxious around busy areas. So far , DH and I have a 2 hour Emily in Paris walking tour booked which will include some history of Paris as well as filming locations. We are also going to Notre Dame.

Anyone have suggestions on areas/sites that are not super touristy but worth a visit? We’re not bothered about going up Eiffel Tower as Ive been before.

Thanks in advance

If Claude Monet's work interests you, the Musee Marmatton Monet and/or the Orangerie. Get there at opening time.

@Brienneoftarthismyhero pre-book Notre Dame tickets online.

Would second L'Orangerie, it's a lovely small museum

eta; The Batobus, it's a wonderful, easy way to get around the city without using the Métro

The Promenade Plantée wasn’t too busy when we went. We also did a boat tour of the Canal Saint-Martin which seemed a quiet area. Belleville is known for its quirky street art.
You could do a croissant or macaron making class. Or take the train out to Versailles for the day. It only takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on where you’re staying, and from the station it’s just a short walk to the palace.

Thanks for the suggestions, planning to book Notre Dame but not available yet, we go at beginning of July.
@Forgottenmyphone Promenade plantee sounds good! I’ll suggest that. I don’t think we have enough time to leave Paris but a boat trip is also something we’d consider.

The Musee d’Orsay is one of my favourites. It is never as busy as the Louvre and I love the impressionists.
The musee d’histoire de naturelle - the museum in All the light you can not see as also less busy.
I do like a climb up to the Sacre-Coeur the viewing is incredible up there, but it is busy in the streets up from Pigalle metro station.

I third the Musee d’Orangerie. The Monet paintings blew me away!
