Tour Company for Japan

So I’ve booked my flights to Tokyo for a 14 day trip and starting to look at Itineries but here’s the thing , I’m so overwhelmed with options , hotels , internal travels etc I’m thinking as a first timer solo and to Japan it might be less daunting to pick up a tour from Tokyo and that then finishes in Tokyo ready for the flight home . Probably about 10 days so I have some free time aswell .
Anyone have any suggestions for tour operators that include the main sites , Kyoto , Osaka. , Hiroshima etc . Thankyou

You’ve already booked your flights so will be very restricted by dates presumably

How about getting ChatGPT to come up with a suggested itinerary. Be specific about what you want it to include and it can probably do a ton of planning for you in seconds. Plus it will cost a lot less than a tour provider!

Japan isn't difficult to navigate alone if you're sticking to big cities/tourist spots. The transport systems are excellent and it's very safe.

I know how you feel. I consider myself a fairly seasoned traveller but found planning our Japanese trip very intimidating. In the end we followed an itinerary someone posted on line and basically visited the places you listed.
I did look at tours when feeling overwhelmed. The cheaper ones left you to do a lot of the work yourself anyway, and the more expensive ones were very expensive.

As PP said, navigating round Japan is relatively straight forward. If you want to spend money on tours, pay for day trips / experiences. Interestingly we found quite a few on air b&b. You can also book things through get your guide.

What I would really encourage you to do though is have a think about what you really want to get out of the trip. Too many of us opt to do the 'golden triangle' and end up being herded like cattle along narrow streets that looks great on insta on a photo taken at 5am, but are heaving with tourists by 9am. Don't approach it as a tick box exercise. You don't need to see all the temples etc. You won't be able to cover everything, in the same way that you can't cover the UK in 2 weeks. Seek out the Japan you are looking for - If you can stay away from the main tourist traps, you will have a much better time. Enjoy!

@hattie43 you could look at self-guided itineraries and then adapt to suit
