Snowdonia without Snowdon - does this sound good?

I asked AI to come up with a short summer break in Snowdonia with shortish easy-moderate walks for a family with young teens who like magical glens, a bit of mountain and water:

Day 1, Betws-y-Coed Riverside Loop
~3.5 miles (5.5 km), River Llugwy, mossy woods, easy stroll

Day 2, Fairy Glen + Llyn Elsi Circular, 1.5–3 + 3.5 miles, Magical glen, mossy stream, serene lake

Day 3
Crimpiau Mountain Walk
~3 miles (5 km), Gentle mountain summit, panoramic views

How does it sound? Any better ideas?
Thanks

You need to check all of those hikes in detail from reliable sites and not just AI. I live in a mountainous area which I know like the back of my hand. Out of interest, I asked AI to plan a week of hikes, putting in various criteria. Although it came up with a nice sounding plan, there were so many mistakes which could have ended up being dangerous. For example, it suggested a hike would take 4 hours and had muddled up that hike with a slightly different area so if someone had tried to do it they would have ended up hiking for at least 6 hours and ended up nowhere near the place AI claimed the hike came out at, which would have caused onward problems with transportation.

Google each of those hikes to make sure they are the distances and timing AI claims.

AI is just a tool for me to get initial ideas and research going!!!

Op just wondering why you’re avoiding going up Snowdon? I went up it aged 5 & spent the evening skipping afterwards.

Devil's kitchen is a nice walk.

I know you asked for hikes but some alternatives just in case?
You didn't ask for beaches but black rock sands / samsons bay in Morfa Bychan is a beautiful beach. Porthmadog is a nice town with some shops, restaurants and a lovely trip on the steam train. llama trekking. Portmeirion in Penrhyndeudreuth is a lovely day out.

I did too as a child and teen. Can’t be bothered with the crowds it attracts now and have other family considerations

So why not just Google and use maps and street view, that way you can assess the quality of the information better, see travel times, parking etc. The links above will have walks that have been put together by people who have actually hiked in the area and been reviewed by people who have done them.

Any AI itinerary I've seen is just nonsense.

Someone posted one for a short break in Iceland that went all over the country with 10 to 12 hours of driving each day.

As a test, I did one for an area of Spain I knew well and it also had you zipping backwards and forwards across a large rural area using taxis and buses that don't exist.

Using ChatGPT for this sort of thing seems at best pointless and, like a PP says, potentially dangerous.
