Never been to a Disneyland before but DC now 9 & 12 and have loved Disney.
I came to feel now is the time, or more that I am running out of childhood time with them so screw it. I’ll book.

Booked flight. We are going as a family of 4 in October. Flights were cheap £200 total) going to Orly.

We arrive Thursday night
I wanted to get a hotel near airport & do Paris (Eiffel tower etc) Friday then arrive at a hotel nearer Disney.

Thought Disney Sat and Sunday.
We fly home Monday Lunchtime.

Can anyone tell me:
Are the Disney hotels worth the extra money?

Do the tickets included cover all day? I saw 2 nights cone with 3 days tickets and include early access? So when do you actually check in bags?

Any recommendations?
Maybe we should do 3 full days a Disney but didn't want to miss opportunity to show my children (especially nearly 13 year old) a bit of Paris.

Is there a time of day in the park which is busiest?
Is it easy getting back to Paris?

Our day Monday will be very short as flights lunchtime. What do you recommend??

Thank you all

We did something similar and used the Disney express luggage service at Marne-La-Vallée train station which is just a few mins walk from the entrance to the parks. At the station there’s a Disney Express counter where you can drop your luggage and it will be transferred to your hotel. You can pick up your park tickets and head straight into the park.
On the morning of your check out, go to your hotel’s luggage room, drop off your bags and you can pick them up later at the station between 1 pm and 9 pm. This service includes the partner hotels and excluded Davy Crockett and Les Villages Nature.
It’s worth staying at one of the Disney or partner hotels for the proximity, early access, themed rooms and the luggage service.

The parks seem busiest around lunchtime. There’s a lull mid morning after the initial rush and the park becomes noticeably quieter around 4pm.

I would definitely spend a day in Paris, it's a great city, if you want to go up the Eiffel tower you need to prebook tickets. I would go to a hotel in the city centre somewhere when you arrive, otherwise what do you plan to do with your bags whilst sightseeing? There will probably be left luggage facilities somewhere, but I think it's just easier to leave them in hotel storage for the day (and not trek back out to an airport hotel to collect them).
For Disney compare the price of a 2 day 1 night package with buying tickets alone for 2 days, it's normally not much more. You'd need to add a hotel for the Friday night still, the cheaper Disney hotels (looking at Sequoia lodge) is about £300 room only for Friday 17th October, probably cheaper on the Sunday. It is definitely cheaper to stay in Val d'Europe but then you are moving hotel 4 times in 4 nights, I have done this but it's not for everyone. The main benefit of the Disney package including hotel is you get happy entry both Saturday and Sunday, and hour in the park before it opens to everyone else and queues are at their lowest.

If you want to stay off site the B&B hotel is cheap and cheerful, think Travelodge type hotel, the one at Torcy is right next to the station, we stayed there during the Olympics and did a Disney day as well as the Olympics. It's about 15 mins by train from Disney. Good food options nearby too, particularly the Vietnamese restaurant. There is another branch of this hotel slightly closer to Disney but not very convenient for the train.

Ok… next level advice please.
I have splurged on the Disney hotel for 1 night Saturday (2 days tickets for sat and Sunday).
This will give me magic hour Sunday only.
Decided go for full experience (but it's a lot of £££’s and hope it's worth it even for my older girls).
I want to stay in a hotel near Disney Friday night after our day in Paris. Will also need somewhere (happy for it to be different) Sunday night before our lunchtime flight home Monday.

Wondering about Ki space, dream castle or staycity apartments or hotel Elysee.
Somewhere with a pool would be nice, especially for Monday morning chill.
Close to disneybwith shuttle or early transport.
Easy to get back to Orly airport too.

I guess will be an anticlinax after the Disney hotel but somewhere comfy and relaxed?
