Holidays in July

I really need some advice! Myself, hubby and 3 year old are planning to go abroad 2nd week of July but I'm really struggling to find a destination that isn't going to be scorching hot! I've already rescheduled our week once due to a recent miscarriage so don't think I can reschedule it again. Has anyone travelled with young children in July and can suggest where we could go please? I thought possibly Tenerife maybe? Thank you!

Tenerife would be a good choice, it's nice and breezy on the island so you don't feel the heat as much. Only thing is because you feel the breeze you might underestimate the sun, my friend LO all got burnt unfortunately. Also its very hilly, so brutal to walk with small DC. Other than that ideal, they have some awesome family friendly hotels, I stayed in one a few year ago and it was amazing x

Are you wanting a fly and flop beach holiday?

Are you wanting a fly and flop beach holiday?

Yes pretty much, looking for a result with kids activities/club but otherwise just relaxing.

Northern Europe? French campsites would be a good start, or Pierre et Vacances?

Lots of kids clubs don’t take children under 4, so that is a consideration. Madeira has a microclimate and is usually a bit cooler

@Forgottenmyphone But Lake Garda will be scorching hot in July.

Fuerteventura. Nice and breezy. I needed a cardigan at night in July and it only got up to about 24/25c in the day. Perfect for me! But yes there were a lot of burnt people walking around due to the winds. I took my ds his first holiday there when he was 3 and it was perfect.

Northern Spain? Just factor in her not wanting to be left at a club - mine never did - so focus more on family friendly facilities.
