Hi, We're going to Croyde in North Devon for a week at the end of June and wondered if anybody had any recommendations for days out with a 2 yr old toddler (and 2 month baby in tow)?
Thanks

Hi johnnybuoy can recommend The Milky Way Dairy near Clovelly. Lots to do there for your 2 year old. The Big Sheep at Bideford is popular but very expensive. Also can I suggest you have a Hockings Icecream if you see a van. Locally made and the best icecream I have ever tasted. Used to live in Bideford, parents still do and buy us a tub of Hockings fot Christmas every year! If it rains Bideford has an outlet shopping village which my kids love but town is a bit rubbish although it does have a huge park by the river with lovely playground. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks Kalie, that's very useful. Is the Milky Way Dairy near Clovelly part of the MilkyWay resort or is it separate?

we go to woolacombe every may, and if you get good weather you probably won't want to leave the beaches in croyde and woolacombe-great for kids! Can recommend the Big Sheep, thought Milky Way was bit more geared up for older kids. Both have good websites. We like Watermouth castle just outside Ilfracombe, really close to croyde. Quite pricey but lovely for smaller children, rides are dotted around lovely grounds, little gnome houses to walk round etc. Also, my little one adores the tunnels beaches, also ilfracombe; they can run through huge tunnels to get to amazing rock pools etc. there is a website for this as well, you'll find it if you google "tunnels beaches ilfracombe." costs under £2 to get in and theres a fab cafe "cafe bleu" at entrance with an indoor play area and a huge wooden pirate ship outside. Croyde has two child friendly pubs, both with good outdoor play areas, we usually eat at the Manor, and go to the other, Billy Budds for a drink. You'll love it, contact me if you need any more tips!!

Thanks Alibo, the tunnels at Ilfracombe sound great.
