Looking for a niche hotel- does this exist?!

Looking for recommendations of a hotel that first this criteria- Google has not been helpful just gives me ads/ not appropriate!

  • activity hotel ( ie bookable activities think centerparcs but all in one place)
  • suitable for children ( 12 and 9)
  • more than one restaurant on site
  • pool on site
  • UK ( we are south east but not too picky)

This may not even exist but worth a go! FWIW we love centerparcs and go on lots of holiday park type holidays but looking for something quite specific for various reasons!

Auchrannie on Island of Arran,Scotland. It's on the outskirts of the main town/port, Brodick. Easy to get to with the fun of a boat trip to get there. You need to book the ferry ( Caledonian McBrayne). It's a 4 star hotel /spa resort. You can stay in hotel or in lodges in its extensive grounds. Still in Scotland, Peebles Hydro Hotel and Gleneagles Hotel /spa are both 5 star hotels on the mainland. All of these have a number of restaurants,pools, activities, and suitable for family holidays. Personally, I think Arran would be the most fun with children that age.

Its not quite all activities on site but at that age mine loved Bedruthan Steps Hotel - you can book surfing at King Surf literally at the bottom of the road. The hotel usually runs a few arts and crafts and other activities during the week (eg clay pigeon shooting) and it has 2 restaurants - one relaxed and one a bit more formal. Mine at that age were allowed to eat alone in the relaxed one a couple of nights during the holiday and loved going to the more formal one for a treat.

Forgot to add if you have girls then you can take them to the Mallory Towers swimming pool on the way back from Padstow.
