Thoughts on Holiday Village Atlantica Mikri Poli Kos ?!

Were taking two kids ages 11 months and 10 years old 18th-28th May…

I didn’t realize there weren’t any heated pools until post booking.

Does anyone know if it’ll be too cold for them to enjoy swimming?

Anyone who knows of this hotel or has any feedback I’d be very grateful…

Thanks 🙏

We went there in June 2023. I can't remember thinking that the pools were cold. We had a great time - the kids still talk about it.

Is it noisy / rowdy? What’s food and drink likes? X

No, not noisy or rowdy. The evening entertainment is away from the rooms - a sort of amphitheatre arrangement. My dd was 5 at the time and loved all the shows. Didn't see any drunk people.

I can't remember the drinks - they're all much of a muchness in these hotels. There's a nice quiet cocktail bar above the Chinese restaurant. The Italian restaurant is quieter for breakfast. Make sure you book your restaurants on the machine on your first/second day: there's the Chinese, Italian, Greek and American. The food was excellent: beautiful salads and desserts, and things like baklava. Lots to choose from for breakfast. There's a section of food places open in the day for snacks and ice creams. These were very convenient, and the children liked the hot dogs. On the quieter side, there's flat breads and meats done on the grill. I'm veggie so just had salad in them and they were gorgeous.

The resort isn't too far. We paid about 7 euro for a taxi as we had elderly relatives with us. It's definitely worth going into for the shops and to have a look around. We went to a courtyard restaurant with bougainvillea growing around. It was very pretty and the food was very good.

Hope you enjoy as much as we did!
