Big holiday with 4.5 year old.. ideas?

We are fortunate enough that circumstances has allowed that we will have more budget than normal for a holiday when our little girl will be ,4 and 1/2 so we want to do a 'big' holiday but not sure what.

Our ideal was returning to Bali where we honeymooned but the feel the flights will be too sore on her ( it's a 12 and a 4 hr flight for us)

So looking for other ideas? She does travel well so we could do one longer flight or happy to consider any closer to home options too. So far as a family we have done Tenerife, Lanzarote and Cyprus. TIA

At 4.5 I’d do Disney. I took dc when they were 4, 8 & 12 and although he’s now almost 16 it’s his fave holiday

Thank you, we had been talking about Disney but weren't sure if it was the right age or not

I was never a Disney lover until I went! But I think every age is the right age 😂
we had a bit of extra cash a couple of years ago so went again and we all still enjoyed, it just grows with you

I did Disney as a 7 year old and can barely remember it, other than a few particular moments. For the cost of Disney (unless you mean Paris) I'd wait until they're older and taller.

I'm a sucker for a cruise so I'd recommend those all day long.

If you're set on a flight somewhere my favourite place in the world is Singapore.

thank you yes I wondered if Paris might be more suitable, we haven't done a cruise yet but we are doing one shortly with my parents so will see how that goes then maybe look at the Disney cruises or something...thank you

We had two weeks in southern Ontario when our daughter was a similar age (slightly younger). We had amazing time, a few nights in Toronto, then a week in a cabin up in the Muskoka lakes, plus a further few nights in Prince Edward County (NOT Prince Edward Island, completely different place!). We loved it so much, we went back and explored a slightly wider area and for a little longer, a few years later. We so enjoyed spending time outdoors swimming in the lakes, kayaking, visiting quaint little towns, having ice cream, farmers markets, Toronto zoo, child friendly wineries/breweries in PEC. Ahhhh I love it!
