Relaxing European holiday for small kids

Hi all I'm looking to book a European holiday for July this year with a newborn,3 yo and 5 yo. Coming from the UAE I am looking for somewhere dry and warm but not hot ill be home in Ireland for a month and will fly out from there. Can anyone recommend a place. I don't mind weather its Air BNB or Hotel or Holiday Camps etc so long as its not hectic and is relaxed and suited for small kids. A big ask I know lol. Thanks

Relaxing holiday and small kids doesn't really go together! I'd look at the Balearics or France. Holiday parks work well at that age because you get can put them to bed and still have a deck / terrace to sit out in the evening. We always used Siblu.

@boulevardofbrokendreamss yes I agree relaxing doesn't exist at this stage. I like the idea of a wine on the deck will check out Siblu. Thank you.

Friends with kids a similar age went to the Netherlands and had a great time. They went to Efteling for part of it which is a bit like Disney, but more peaceful. You can hire a cottage on the lake.

Centre Parcs EU- lots to do but with your own quiet space too. Usually cheaper than UK too. CP has resorts in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark & France.

If your older two are sociable and enjoy going off to new places and activities I’d pick somewhere with a kids club, best chance of relaxation IMO!

Dry and warm but not hot can be a challenge in Europe in July. Canaries would work (doesn’t really get heatwaves) and there are lots of places with kids clubs there.

Thanks @minipie my soon to be 3 yo is very social & chatty my 5 yo however is still non speaking and hence quite vulnerable so I'm not sure if i could leave them at a kids club but ill check the canaries out that alos a good call and one I didn't think of . Thank you.

I’d probably look at a villa or holiday park with a chalet/caravan at that age. In a hotel you’ll be more limited by bed times and having to stay quiet once the little ones are asleep. At least then you can sit outside with a glass of wine once they’re in bed and you’re not just confined to a potentially tiny hotel balcony.

nothing is going to be really relaxing with kids your age as with a pool around one parent will need to have eyes on them and be alert at all times. Picking somewhere with lots to do in the day so they’re tired and sleep well so you can relax in the evening (newborn allowing) would be my plan.
