Recommendation for a European beach holiday

Hoping someone will have been on a holiday that ticks all our boxes and be happy to recommend.

Basic requirements are
*direct access to a beach preferably a private one with loungers
*at least one swimming pool
*plenty of pool loungers/parasols I.e so no bun fight to find a place or ridiculous 5am reserving of space needed
*choice of restaurants either on site or walking distance
*walking distance from things to see/do i.e a harbour, shops, small town etc
*easy to get a bus/train/cab to other attractions nearby I.e castle/cathedral/theme park/heritage site/waterpark - anything to do basically, can be cultural or touristy
*All inclusive not essential but also wouldn't rule it out
*Happy with boutique or large hotel but prefer not massive resorts as they tend to be isolated

Looking to spend up to £6k the 1st 2 weeks of July for 2 adults 2 teens.

Can anyone give any inspiration? The problem is my family want a chill out beach holiday but I get bored and like to see places, try new food etc. We went to Sorrento last year which was great something along those lines maybe?

What about a cruise? You'd get days relaxing on the ship at the pool etc, and then days exploring. Plus your teens could have a little freedom on the ship so you'd get a balance of time with your DH and whole family time. This one leaves from Southampton and comes under budget. Arvia - 6th July 2025

Thanks so much @xmasdealhunter I've never considered a cruise so will definitely have a look. I think I'm hesitant due to feeling a bit hemmed in and the sheer volume of people but actually it would give a good mix of lazy pool time and sightseeing to suit the whole family as you say

I think so long as you pick a big enough ship, you shouldn't feel too hemmed in, particularly if you pick one that stops every few days like the Arvia does :)

Ah sorry, I actually meant 1 week but it will be at the start of July. I'd like 10days or a fortnight but don't think the budget will stretch that far
