Dairy free baby porridge

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. My baby girl has CMPA and will be 9 months old when we go on holiday.

She currently has blended rolled oats that I cook on the stove with water and add fruit purée to. I have been looking for an instant baby porridge that I can just add water to on holiday but they all contain milk!

So my question is 1. Can you add boiled water to blended oats without cooking in micowave or on a hob?

  1. if not does anyone know of a dairy free baby porridge which can be made up with just boiled water (or her sma Althera formula)

Thank you!

If you're staying in self catering you could make overnight oats

Organix do dairy free baby porridges. You're supposed to add baby's usual milk to them but if you normally make porridge with water I can't see how those ones would be any different really.

We used to use this brand, it's dairy free and you just add boiled water and mix. You could also use formula, or a blend of formula and water, if you preferred. FLEUR ALPINE Organic Oat Baby Cereal Dairy Free - Yummy Baby Porridge for Deliciously Smooth Breakfast Meals | Nutritious and Easy To Make Cereal 5+ Months with No Added Sugars | 7 Servings : Amazon.co.uk: Grocery
Have you tried her on weetabix? That's another easy option that you could mix with her formula.

I could have sworn that I read skimmed milk powder on the back of the organix box but I googled it after another user suggested it and you guys are 100% right! Thank you so much I will be trialing with my baby this week x

Thank you so much for this! Another great alternative 😊

We haven't tried weetabix as she was doing so well with her porridge (she's a bit fussy and refuses most foods) so didn't want to rock the boat! But I will trial this at some point I'm sure, thank you!
