Does such a thing exist? I've been to ikos before but budget slightly lower now sadly (also they are not Adults only)
Has anyone been to a fab adults all inclusive with a budget of around 3k max per couple that they can recommend where the food and variety is decent (buffet is fine, doesn't need to be ala carte)

Depends what you count as good food?

Lanzarote Barcelo Active resort royal level! The food was immense and different restaurant to choose from which is always a bonus!

I was going to suggest Ikos. 😬

I’ve not done any other AI in Europe.

We’re booked to go to Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa in Rhodes which is adult only at the beginning of May. The reviews are really good (5/5 on trip advisor) so I’m hoping the food will be good but can’t comment personally until after we’ve been! We’ve done Ikos a couple of times before and enjoyed it but that was with our kids and we’re only doing 4 nights this time (Ikos is minimum of 5) and wanted adults only, I have high hopes!

Aquila Elounda Village had lots of choice, local food, fresh, themed food nights etc... We loved it.

TRS Ibiza has great food

Ikos food isn't that great to be honest, not for the price you pay to stay at Ikos anyway. If you want great food you'd be better off picking a non-all inclusive hotel in a location with a decent number of highly rated restaurants and eating out every night. That's what we do (although we don't eat out every night - sometimes we are happy to self cater). That way we get to go to the best local restaurants and enjoy some really nice meals (nice cuts of meat and fish, seafood etc that you wouldn't get with an all inclusive).

There so many places in Europe where you can get wonderful local food. Why restrict yourself to AI if there are so few places with good enough food provided?

Downthemarshes · 09/03/2025 09:34

No Europe but you get a better food experience in Mexico .

I personally would book a centrally located hotel on a b&b basis and eat out for better food, that said we had decent food at the last few TUI hotels we stayed at (blue for adults was good, magic life was as better and they have a section that's adults only, and the food was good at Bahia hotels too the last couple of times (ai cocktails not so good but they left the local spirits out for people to help themselves too, not something I've seen elsewhere)
