Things to do for toddlers in/near Amsterdam

We’re travelling to Center Parcs De Eemhof in May, and hoping to take a few day trips out to local attractions. Could people please recommend some places to spend a day/half day at with two toddlers aged 18 months & 3 years? I’ve seen lots of recommendations for the theme park Efteling, but is there enough there for little ones/rides they would be allowed on?
I would love to visit some tulip fields (maybe with other things there - like a park for the kids), and we love interactive museums etc. any recommendations appreciated, thank you!

Keukenhof, Artis. Amsferdam center will be hell for little ones in all honesty.

Some more - Vondelpark is lovely. Canal trip maybe

Keukenhof is the main tulip heaven in the Netherlands but May is the end of the season, I would look near the time if it is still worth going.

The Artis Zoo in the middle of Amsterdam is a lovely one.

Vondelpark is a great large park to run around.

A canal trip - depends on the patience of your children. We did one in October and had a family with a 6 and 4 year old on it, the two girls were utterly bored.

There is a large Science Museum - Nemo - but I am not sure how suitable they are for toddlers/pre-school age.

Nemo Museum, and the maritime museum is close by, the tall ship is fun to visit. Won't take long, but it's different
Tunfun - indoor activities
Amstelpark

For that age group you are better off going to Sprookjeswonderland in Enkhuizen! It's much cheaper than the Efteling (like a third of the price), and completely geared towards younger children.

The Efteling is still fabulous though, and there is enough for them. The fairy tale forest is amazing.

Quite close to the Eemhof is a restaurant called Hans en Grietje, it's a fairy tale themed pancake restaurant with playgrounds etc.

Nemo is geared more towards older children, 6+. I took my DD there when she was very young and she got bored quickly.

I wouldn't do the maritime museum. The ship is not bad but not worth the entry price as the rest of the museum is fairly grown up.

My history mad 17 year old felt underwhelmed.
