Best places for autism holidays

Hello, I am looking and searching for a decent holiday. My little one has sensory needs(neuro diversity) and hotels are definitely out the question. Child is okay with caravan parks. I am wondering if anyone has suggestions of the perfect place to relax but has suitable things for kids to do and won't get bored.
I have looked at Berwick upon Tweed but was wondering if anyone else had more knowledge in this field. Many thanks. He would love to go to Legoland but hotels just won't suit. Holiday needs to be just close to our term time coming to and end. Any suggestions on actual months that's best also would be appreciated, as going crowded places does comes with its struggles.

We stayed at a place called Sungate in Bath in the summer. It's a self catering house thats been adapted to be autism friendly by the owners who have a child with autism.
My little girl is non verbal and the adaptations were really helpful in keeping her safe (safe space bed) and in keeping her entertained. The indoor swing and trampoline board were a hit. It wasn't cheap but was worth it for the peace of mind.
There's a little farm just down the road and plenty to do in Bath and the countryside. Dyrham Park was beautiful. My daughter loved going to visit places during the day and then relaxing at home in the evenings.

The indoor swing and trampoline does sound amazing!. I don't have a clue were bath is and don't drive, I will look into this and see about transport etc and if going to be suitable, thanks for information.

I had a look into there, looks lovely and definitely like home from home but it's to far and to many changes in travel unfortunately. Thanks for suggestion.

Perhaps it might help if you have an idea where you are setting off from. My guess is that you are in the North east?

Will your DC be OK on trains and buses?
I very rarely travel on a train that is quiet these days. They are always crowded (I generally travel between Yorkshire, the North East and Liverpool)

Hi sorry I am in Scotland (should have stated this) trains are okay if not overly crowded and no tunnels but if so then it's coping strategies. Buses, if buses are overly crowded is just a no go area, I tend to travel at non peak times to avoid the hassle and bustle but sometimes things can change.
