Looking at May/June, unfortunately can't afford Sani, Ikos or anything like that but looking at the med mostly, possibly the canaries?

DC is very active so need plenty to keep them occupied, they love the water so beachfront would be a plus also perhaps a pool with slides? One parent is also able bodied.

I'm looking at Princesa Yaiza Lanzarote, Sheraton Fuerteventura, Royal Son Bou Menorca, Tui Magic Life Belek, please feel free to give me more suggestions.

Prefer half board/AI but would consider B&B if it ticked other boxes. A heated pool and a jacuzzi would be a plus too.

We've stayed at Viva Sunrise Alcudia and Creta Maris before.

Thankyou xx

I'd recommend Sheraton fuerteventura.

Beach is literally right outside the hotel. There's a big shopping centre very nearby with an arcade, 10 pin bowling and a large Eurospar (amongst lots of other shops).

I appreciate that you're not going abroad for McDonald's but it was certainly helpful for our young kids when they didn't fancy anything else. That's also nearby.

It's not much distance between the centre of Caleta de Fuste and the Sheraton - a nice walk along the water. I appreciate that you have mentioned low mobility. Hiring mobility scooters is easy and there are lots of them - I'd recommend Cool Runnings.

Sheraton rooms are amazing. The kids pool is heated which makes all the difference!

We've also stayed at the Princesa Yaiza a few times. Absolutely incredible hotel. Like something from a magazine. Gorgeous beach outside. Nice walk to the marina.

The main kids pool is rubbish - not heated. There is a kids jacuzzi which is always very busy because it's warm. Probably quite unsafe in truth!

It's an amazing place for adults to relax. We have children too and found ourselves feeling the need to leave the hotel to find things for them to do. Although the kids entertainment at night is quite nice in the form of the mini disco.

Just to add in about the Sheraton - there is an adults jacuzzi (which kids can use too if supervised) which is heated. It all feels very child friendly. The play park is a nice addition. Great buffet food too which is usually an absolute rarity!

We stay here often.

Ah brilliant, what a great reply, thankyou so much for the mobility scooter recommendation too, I hear that Fuerteventura is quite windy, did that bother you much at all?

Luckily my (now 4 year old) does quite well with hotel buffet food and will try things, so needing a Maccy D's shouldn't be an issue, although he gets ants in his pants at meal times so we find it difficult to enjoy a nice, unrushed, al a carte on holiday. 😅

We have never found Caleta de Fuste to be windy. I can't comment on Corralejo though but that's a different resort entirely.

Lanzarote - namely Costa Teguise - is renowned for being windy, though!

Ah shame to hear that the kids pool is rubbish at the Yaiza, DC is quite the water baby, will definitely have to take that into consideration. What room did you stay in the Yaiza please? I'm looking at the suites but can't tell if they have balconies or if they do what the outlook would be, unless you pay for sea view ones (which would put it out of budget) Since we usually spend our evenings on the balcony after DC goes to bed.
