Silly question about package holidays menorca

So me DH and DD (16) want to go on holiday. It will be our first holiday abroad. I have never been on a package holiday before. Ideally we would like a two bed apartment but these seem very rare from the package holiday companies? If we book 2 rooms will they be together? I don't want to book and then find that DD is on the other side of the site. Majorca or Menorca probably

Thanks for all the replies. Not going to lie, I'd rather stay at home then have someone on the sofa bed!! So far I have tried. Jet2 , tui and easyjet. We want to be v near a beach. This is way too stressful!

Have you tried just googling 2 bed apartments Majorca rather than using a search engine? Often this way you get articles which hotels which have what you want.

Globales los delphines in Cala n Forcat have 2 bedroom apartments.

We stayed here and enjoyed it, they have 2 bedroomed apartments available and is close to the beach. It's in a fairly quiet village though.

Take a look at Isla Del Aire Punta Prima in Menorca. They have some 2 beds and are VERY reasonably priced. Lovely big pool and perfectly adequate breakfast. Short walk to beach.

We had a great holiday in Menorca, and I'm looking at going back. I've also been looking for 2 bed apartments, and the holiday companies don't seem to offer them for some reason. But if you look on the actual hotel website they do. Not a huge amount offer them, but I've found quite a few x

They tailor results according to the size of the party. They assume two adults and two DC will share a one bed apartment. If you put 6 adults in it would throw up 2 bed apartments.
We always booked two bedrooms for the extra space.
When DC were under 5 we stayed at the Hamilton Court in Menorca. They had some 3 and 4 bedroom apts. Beachfront and I think we had breakfast included but it was a long time ago. We liked the fact that the apt had a gated garden as we had toddlers

Last 2 years we have booked seth isla paraiso in menorca through easyjet holidays.
2 bed apartments but has hotel facilities.
Quiet resort but we love menorca for that reason and short transfers too.

I'll never holiday in one room ever again so with you on apartments.

Seth mestral in santo tomas also has 2 bed apartments.

Was just coming on here to say Seth Isla Paraiso too! We booked through BA holidays and also stayed at MarSenses Club at Cala'n Bosch at the other end of the island as a two resort holiday - we had a two bedroomed apartment at the Seth one and a one bedroomed apartment with a sofa bed in the living room at the other.

I've just gone on Jet2, picked a random airport and dates, and the first result that came up has options of a studio or a two bed apartment (£900 more for the week though). Worth noting it wasn't immediately obvious that the option was there, you had to click through to the holiday. So it might take a bit more work, but they are available. Alternatively go in to a TUI and ask them to sort it..? Also you could consider a small resort, then even if you do book two rooms you'll know they can't be too far apart, in separate building etc.

We’ve done both package and DiY to Majorca with the kids. Price about the same but with the DIY route we had a really lovely 2 bed apartment close to the beach and town centre that we booked through Vrbo, sky scanner for flights and then hire car separately. You’ve just got to check you’ve got the right insurance.

Martin Lewis has good info in the travel section of money saving expert. Personally I didn’t really find the package route any less stressful (mainly because it was easier to pick up the hire car than it was to locate the transfer coach at Palma Airport) and the accommodation was nowhere near as good, further out, tiny 1 bed apartment with a sofa bed.

We went to Rhodes when DD just turned 15 and booked two bedrooms, they were near each other.

We booked via TUI and emailed the hotel separately to request nearby rooms.

We did similar in Prague, Amsterdam and Berlin on city breaks in the last 3 years.

Most sofa beds we found (even in 4-5* hotels) were quite narrow and not really comfortable for someone adult size for more than a handful of nichts, definitely not for a proper holiday.
