Hi am planning to visit slovenia in september. Will hire a car from zagreb and head to slovenia for 7 days than back to rastoke and plitvice lakes for 2 days .
I want to spend at least 2 nights in the logar valley as it really looks peacefully and bueatifull , as i prefer a green holiday than citites. The other 5 nights any ideas where to stay? Soca area and bohinj maybe? So i can see the soca river, lake bled, bohinj and kranskja gora??? Any ideas for my toddler, like amusements parks or etc?

Tivoli park in Ljubljana. It has the zoo at one end which is very reasonably priced, and you can park right outside. And the park is huge, probably hire bikes would be my recommendation as it’s huge. At the city side of the park there’s a huge playground for kids with water play, sand, etc.

The Postojana caves are worth a visit. It has a train taking you underground so it’s fun for kids also. And it’s ok walk inside, we did last year when Ds was 3 years. Dh carried him 5 mins on shoulder but he walked the rest fine. We did the predjama castle also as it’s only about 10mins away.

Maybe stop at a water park (Aqualuna is not far out of your way, when driving from Zagreb to Ljubljana, if the weather is still warm).

If you definitely want to go to Soca, there is a lovely circle you can do - look into taking the car on the train from Bohinjska Bistrica to Most na Soca (you sit in the car on an open wagon and go through lots of tunnels, it's fun. You can visit Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj, take the train through the mountains to Soca, then drive back over Vrsic (highest mountain pass in Slovenia) to Kranjska Gora, then get on the highway back to Ljubljana. If you do that, though, I would recommend breaking it up over 2 or 3 days because it could feel like a lot of driving with a toddler,, and it's all very beautiful so you will want to stop and explore lots.
