UK luxury for oldies

Any ideas where to take my elderly parents in UK. They usually love a cruise but that's out due to prohibitive cost of insurance due to their various health issues.

They are both fairly fit though and love eating out, entertainment (like shows etc) and a bit of sight seeing. They have been to Warners in the past but any other options suitable especially along south coast ?

They have quite a healthy budget and line a bit of luxury.

The Captain's Club Hotel in Christchurch? Captain's Club Hotel & Spa, Christchurch (updated prices 2025). The hotel itself does live music on specific days, and there's a local theatre that gets various touring productions, so they could time it with a show that they fancy seeing What's On | Regent Christchurch. There's lots of nice restaurants in Christchurch itself and the hotel has a nice one also. The town also has got various events on throughout the year (such as a regatta, music festival, jazz festival etc) so if any of them take their fancy they could time the trip to align with them, and also possibly a show if they're lucky! 21 of the Best Things to do in Christchurch UK - A Local's Guide

The Carlyon Bay Hotel in Cornwall has a pianist a few times a week, spa, indoor and outdoor pools, putting green, tennis courts, croquet lawn and snooker room. It’s right on the coast and has the most stunning views.

@oneshow They fill up really really quickly but have they looked at Noble Caledonia cruises around the UK? We went to the Hebrides with them (we are nearly 70) and most people were retired. They have various cruises on their website. They are extremely popular with many liking the small ship experience (120 or so passengers) and the quality. Deep pockets required and no shows but great itineraries and everything included! We have Iceland and Norway booked too.

Often specialist companies offer insurance. A few people we have met were certainly unwell long term but they were still on holiday. So I would ask NC about insurance.
