Easter holiday for family that need to bond!

The past couple of years have been tough on our family and we often feel fracured/ fractious and homelife can be a bit fraught for various reasons. DC are 12 and 9.

I want to take us somewhere lovely in the Easter holidays. Somewhere that feels homely (not some massive AI resort), but has enough for the kids to do. Somewhere we can reconnect. Warm weather a plus, and pool (indoor or out) for the kids a must. Could be for a week to e.g. Europe or to somewhere in the UK. Needs to feel like a treat, but we don't have pots of money to spend. We often holiday with friends, but that's not an option this time for various reasons.

Any ideas? I just want to build some happy, positive vibes between us. Sometimes we feel like 4 separate people living in the same house and griping at each other, rather than a family :(

Thanks. Looks lovely but not sure about weather being good enough in April to make use of what the hotel has on offer?

Budget is very relevant here

Up to about 6k ideally if we're going abroad. Less in the UK (maybe £3k UK?)

Although I'd pay more for an amazing bonding experience that turns us into the Waltons!

We're planning/ hoping on a bigger splurge trip to Japan in 2026, so don't want to do anything majorly epic this Easter. Also youngest DC isn't the most adventurous and hates the idea of family time or anything cultural, so needs to be not too far flung but also not just 'hanging out together'.

It's a tall order and I know I'm asking for something impossible. I just want something for us all to look forward to!

What about a Center Parcs? So much to do and the pool is the highlight.

We are going self catering in majorca me and my 3 for the exact reasons home life is hectic and stressful and we need to bond again instead of the kids being at each others throats could of went all inclusive but I want us to work together in decision making about what we need to survive and eat and just bond with each other because daily life for all is stressful and just repetitive and they aren't going to be little for too long! So it's so important to just be together making special memories that will strengthen that bond we have dimmed x
