Northern European campsite, no car required, does it exist?

Wondering if anyone could help with a fairly specific Eurocamp (or similar) recommendation...want to take 2 teens by myself away in the summer.
We haven't travelled abroad as a 3 before, money is tight and I am a terribly crap and nervous driver.
I'd be happy with a city break but I know they'd like a bit of pool /beach time. We all like exploring a bit. I know we could maybe get something like a week in Spain but none of us v g with the heat, and with our budget I don't think we'd end up anywhere lovely.
So my thought was maybe we could fly somewhere- Amsterdam? Paris? and do a week at a campsite so they could have a bit of down time but also use public transport to explore a bit.
I've seen Duinrell recommended for this but it looks huge and expensive?
Flying from the north so ryanair etc limited for destinations but I wouldn't mind changing in London. Looked at la rochelle too, if anyone has experience there?
Looking for...warm but not roasting in July, accessible without a car, places to explore nearby?
If anyone knows of such a place I'd be so grateful!

Duinrell is definitely completely doable by public transport. I'm sure there are sites around Paris you could get to via Eurostar.

You can search for car free sites on the Eurocamp website.

duinrell def doable and you can access other places too so worth looking at

if you fancy something a bit further afield and are happy with staying mostly on site I’d recommend the Yelloh Village Serignan Plage campsite which is taxi distance from Beziers airport. Plenty to do on site
(which is huge so you get bikes to get around) plus a nice beach.

Thank you! I'd looked at Beziers but wondered if it would be too hot?
Duinrell looks so enormous, I think ideally I'd prefer somewhere smaller, altho I guess teens may disagree!

You can go via Eurostar and train

The south will be hot in July

Thank you! We'd have quite a long train journey to get to the eurostar so I don't know if that might all get a bit much. I do really like the idea of Northern France though!

Pierre et Vacances have some villages in northern France. I would say though Duinrell is entirely manageable (and not to be scared of) and is walking distance from town and beach (or you could rent bikes). Also worth looking at Roompot.com / Landal.com for their NL/FR/BE holiday parks. Or indeed the European Centerparcs. De Kempervennen is much raved about on MN, but there is also one at De Haan on the Belgian coast. Schools go back last week of August in NL and a lot of Belgium so prices can be much cheaper then.

Duinrell is totally manageable, we went last summer with younger kids and it was fine. It is zoned so it doesn’t feel massive and it would be very doable without a car as the public transport links are excellent.
