Recommendations for European family all-inclusive

Joanie0406 · 01/01/2025 10:54

Please can anyone recommend a good all-inclusive for a family of 4? (Children will be 7 and 4 when we go). We are looking at the beginning of June.

I have been looking, but last year we went to Kos to a hotel that had amazing reviews on Tripadvisor, but was quite disappointing, so I don’t know how accurate some reviews are anymore.

We usually go with TUI. We need a kids club, evening entertainment for the kids and ideally a kids pool with slides. Has anyone been to an all-inclusive in Europe with kids that they would happily return to? Thanks.

My kids really enjoyed Lyttos Beach in Crete, they preferred it to Stella which is very similar (about 15 minutes down the road). We had a room with a small private pool which was great. Food was really good, lots of different pools with a small on site waterpark. Only downside was the beach wasn't great but mine prefer pool to beach so not an issue for us. Kids club, short distance from the airport.

Atlantica Aegean Blue

What does a good all inclusive look like for you? My youngest loves a kids club but is young so I like to have qualified staff in the kids club - you can search on TUI for hotels with TUI kids clubs.

We all enjoyed this hotel

Ikos, or any of the Barut hotels in Turkey.

If you travel with TUI try one of their holiday villages. Cyprus and Rhodes are great hotels.

We've booked Turkey for the 3rd year in a row. Get so much for your money.

Check the availability of kids clubs if you are not going in school holidays. We stayed at a hotel last year and there was only a club for under 6's as term time everywhere (they fly from across Europe) parents were moaning loudly (my kids are grown) but the TUI rep was explaining that it's fine to the 3rd party hotel to provide who had decided not to.

Thank you for the suggestions. I’m going to have a look at what people have recommended. A good kids club (like the TUI ones) is important to me, because my eldest loves them and says making new friends is the best part of his holiday. The week we are looking at is when my kids are off school.

Pine Bay Resort in Kusadasi. The only place we ever went twice. Stay in the bungalows.

If your schools is off in the first week of June it maybe worth looking at flying from different airports as most school are off the last week of May.

@xyxyz111 sorry to slightly hijack the thread, but what hotels would you recommend? There's so much choice and I worry about food poisoning!

I really rate the Tui Blue hotels too. Same reason as you OP, kids club and easy evening entertainment. Last year we went to the Ephesus in Turkey. The water park next to the hotel was brilliant and kept the kids well entertained.

I am not a fan of the Holiday Villages at all, but try the TUI Blue range https://www.tui-blue.com/en/. We went to one last year and it was great. We stayed in Turkey, food was fantastic, the whole place was spotless and kids club was great.

Rixos premium tekirova - went two may half terms in a row with the same friends as it was so good. Kids were similar age to yours and it was perfect.

I know it's not Europe but either Morocco or Malta? Both short haul, warm and there's loads of hotel options

MasterPretender · 02/01/2025 07:31

Have you thought about a kinderhotel in Austria? We went to one last year and going back again this year. The service is truly amazing and the food was such good quality with loads of healthy options. There's a kids club, pool and massive outdoor playground.

The location up in the mountains was so beautiful, with tons of free things to do with kids in the area. You also get a free summer card with the hotel that gives you free access to all public transport and cable cars into the mountains which also has lots of outdoor play stations on the top.

It's definitely not a holiday village type of place, but truly felt like a bit of luxury for the adults as well as a great holiday for the kids.

We stayed in the Mia Alpina hotel in Fuegen. Cannot recommend it enough.

FrogOnAYuleLog · 02/01/2025 07:38

We’ve just booked MarBella MarBella in Corfu, so can’t recommend but has everything you’re after. Can’t wait!! Naff name puts me off but it does look lovely.

Its a lower budget Sani/Ikos apparently, but we went to Sani 8 or so years ago and did not think it’s worth today’s prices (nothing there, no proper kids club or slides etc!) so don’t mind that so much.

AutoP1lot · 02/01/2025 07:45

We loved Rodos Princess Beach in Rhodes. Great kids club, pools and food and the evening entertainment was excellent.

Otherwise as a PP suggested I've heard great things about Kinderhotels.

Oooh @JonSnowedUnder ive booked there with a private pool. What block or even room number best for afternoon sun? Thanks

JonSnowedUnder · 11/02/2025 20:50

@Bestthriller I don't remember which number we were, we had no view though! We were next to another great sized pool which we often had all to ourselves. Our terrace/pool were in sun pretty much all day, which was punishing in Aug! It's a lovely hotel, my kids would go again in a flash.
