What can adults do in South of England?

want to make the most of having a day out without dd on sunday. Normally would go to watch motor racing (there isnt anything worthwhile) or go for a really really long walk (knackered knees atm)

So any suggestions please as I can't remember what adults do on days out normally (I know that is sad!)

Me and dh have been paintballing on a day without kids before!
But it depends where your interests lie, if I have a day on my own then I do the V&A because I love the place but dh wouldn't enjoy it too much, I don't think.
Art gallery?

would have to be virtual shopping - but nice idea

Paintballing - hmmmmm, now that is an interesting thought, one I shall consider tomorrow when I'm not exhauted.
Art gallery not really my thing but we could go up to London I spose and see Globe theatre and wander along south bank.

actually, having talked it over with dh seems like a good plan. Can go over to Covent Garden in evening, go to some antique bookshops. it will be nice

Yes go, makes a change from motor racing, mind you you could go to the dogs, literally! Dh and I have done that before too.

Wow - that would never have occurred to me

I'm looking forward to it now - a day in London without going to Science/Natural History museum - bliss!
