Tell me more about Morzine in Summer

Hi all
We want to book something for summer this year and we are a bit bored of summer beach holidays.
I have 2 extremely active teenagers who want more adventure from a holiday as do me and hubby.
We looked at Morzine and Tignes last year but couldnt work out the best way to do it but we want to revisit the idea.
Can someone help with where to book, what accomodation, how to get there, things to do to suit the teens. It all seems a bit overwhelming in which order to book things and making sure we get the most for our money.
Is a week enough?
Happy to drive or fly whichever way is cheaper really.

DH and I took our 12 and 14yo DC to Morzine in July this year and had a great time. We flew into Geneva and got a pre-booked coach to Morzine.

We booked a self-catering apartment whose owner was signed up to the Multi Pass scheme. This meant we paid about £80 for cards which gave us free use of the local buses, Porte du Soleil ski lifts and swimming pools and discounts on many other activities. One of the lifts was a bit extra (chair lift up to the Pointe de Nyon after the main cable car). We made full use of the passes and did something different every day using them so well worth it.

The DC study French at school so we booked them into the Alpine French School Monday-Friday. The format is French lessons in the morning (things like going to the market, buying ingredients and then coming back to school to follow a French recipe), a packed lunch and then an adventure activity in the afternoon. It alternates each week but always starts with a swimming test on Monday. The DC did a high ropes/zip wire course, canyoning, paintball and paddle boarding. They weren't best pleased at the idea of school during the holidays but actually had a blast.

Thanks for your response :)
Who did you book the accommodation through?

I booked through Alptitude, which was cheap and cheerful. There are lots of companies though.

Morzine also fantastic for mountain biking in the summer. Lots of companies offer it where you take the bikes up in the ski lifts and cycle back down. Les Gets which is next to Morzine is less steep in terms of descent.
The hotel Tremplin is well situation at the foot of the pistes so lovely views in summer and also very central. Lots of good food options and there's a cinema that shows English films with French subtitles. It's a super place and very accessible from Geneva.
