Anyone been to C'an Picafort Holiday Village, Majorca?? Will we need our buggy??

DD 21 months, only going for 1 week & prob won't leave the resort when we're there.
I prefer the "better to have it & not need it, than need it & not have it" mantra, but DH disagrees!
Any experiences/opinions??
Thank you, oh wise ones....

not been there but is she the type to fall asleep in the buggy? If so will come in useful if you want to do anything in the evenings when she gets tired. Or even for lunchtime naps. I would say take it. Just thought of something else - if you are flying to Palma it is a really long walk from the plane to baggage reclaim so useful for that too!

Defo take the buggy. Especially if you stay out late and DD falls asleep.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately DD always sleeps in her cot. Have been quite rigid about this from 4mths of age cos it suited us at the time - & till now! I think it may come to bite us in the bum this time . She does fall asleep in her car seat, but can't remember last time she fell asleep in the buggy. We've booked her into the evening creche for 3 nights, & for the other nights were just looking forward to some vino on the balcony with a nice book!
So, i guess won't know unless we try it, i'm sure if we walk around long enough at lunchtimes she'll nod off!
Thanks again xx

Hi Caspercat,I've been to this resort twice so any questions you have I'm happy to answer. It is a fairly big complex so I'd say take the buggy, especially if you are wanting to go to the evening entertainment as you never know she may just fall asleep out of tirednees from the heat and long day.

ash6605 · 29/04/2008 21:17

Oh and meant to say,you aren't too far from the beach,a 10 minute walk but on the way back it is on a slight incline so probably too steep for her to walk. HTH

DoubleBluff · 29/04/2008 21:18

I took bugggies on holiday until mine were 4!
USeful for long walks, melas out adn sleeping on teh beach.

caspercat · 29/04/2008 21:25

Thanks for that, ash6605. Have prob decided we will take it.
I guess if you've been twice that means you enjoyed it???

Oh yes we love it we've been two years in a row.The kids adore the place,in fact this year we decided not to holiday and instead save up for Florida next year, but my dcs are most upset they won't be going to the Holiday Village again!! They miss the kids clubs and still talk about the pyjama partys and movie nights!!

caspercat · 29/04/2008 22:01

DD only 21 months, so a bit young for PJ parties! But there seems to be loads to do there & she's fairly easily entertained!
Just hope the weather's good xxx
