Foodie all inclusive recommendations - 2.5 year old and newborn

We've never done an AI or even a resort holiday before, up until now we've always gone for a self-catered cottage somewhere and driven from London. But, next summer we'll have a toddler and a newborn and I just don't think it sounds very relaxing to do all the cooking and childcare etc in a less convenient location while theoretically enjoying myself!

Any suggestions for an AI we can go to once the school holidays have finished, so Sept/Oct? I'm not too fussed about country, more interested in good food, some toddler-friendly pools (heated I expect, in Sept/Oct) and ideally no evening entertainment (I know this is niche and not a deal breaker).

Budget is up to 4k for the week including flights (which is why we're going in school holidays!)

Thanks :-)

TUI Sensatori Biomar in Majorca.

After extensive research we've been here twice with toddlers!

There's evening entertainment but it's not compulsory🙂

Any Ikos resort fits that bill ! Amazing food ,mainly a la carte restaurants .Caters well for small kids / babies and very low key evening entertainment !!
They heat their pools beautifully . We had a swim up and it was bath like in April .

Ikos certainly fit the bill. Look at Ikos Aria in Kos in early October.. still good weather. Looking at 5k

I don’t think OP will get Ikos + flights for £4k.

I agree with a TUI hotel, or try a Protur hotel, in Mallorca

I don't think the budget will stretch to Ikos.
The best food I've had in hotels has been in Iberostar Selection, there are several. Actually September is a good time to go to the Med because the sea and pools are at their warmest then.

I posted this on another thread.
Your budget will go a lot further if you do half board instead of AI.
I've nothing against AI and it's great for families with teens but it's a big extra cost. Unless money not a consideration or you're very heavy drinkers it's usually cheaper to just buy lunches and drinks separately.
For example we recently stayed in. 4* hotel HB it was £3500 for 2 adults and an extra £850 for AI. We actually spent around £300 on drinks, coffess, snacks and lunches.

Thanks all, I'll have a look at Ikos and see if we can stretch the budget and if not I'll have a look at places with half board too. Makes sense to do that rather than AI given neither of us are big drinkers.
