Buy Zopiclone online?

Nooneknowsbutme · 27/10/2024 15:14

Hi,

Will be taking some long haul flights later in the year, and will need some sleeping tablets.

Can anyone recommend a legit, online pharmacy please?

Thanks!

Zopiclone is not only a prescription only drug, it's controlled under MODA 1971

There are no 'legit' pharmacies which sell zopiclone and a whole host of other controlled drugs

You will still need a prescription

  • ^It is legal to buy Zopiclone online in the UK, provided you have a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare professional.

It takes a five minute appointment to get it from your gp

Nooneknowsbutme · 27/10/2024 16:06

@EachandEveryone will they prescribe it for flying?

No, in general we won't.

All the airlines do fear of flying courses OP, if this is the issue then maybe look into going on one.

(I'm an NHS GP).

Phenergan is available over the counter and is effective.

Is it for help with sleeping or anxiety (or both)?

Nytol 'one a night' (or own brand equivalent) helps me sleep better than most prescription meds but won't help much with anxiety. I know melatonin helps a lot of people with both sleep and anxiety, and CBD oil (neither does much for me).

My GP will happily prescribe a short term zopiclone script - maybe 4 or 5 pills - so long as you don't ask too often. Mine doesn't really delve into it any further than me saying 'trouble sleeping'. That might be because it's a long term recorded issue for me though (chronic insomniac 😴)

My gp doesn’t go into it either but then I do have insomnia espisodes and it does work short term

Please do not do this, sleeping tablets for longhair flights have risks, you need to stay hydrated, walk about and exercise your legs.

I tried to get some via my private medical insurance GP and they wouldn’t prescribe said had to be via NHS. I use Tylenol night for jet lag which works better for me.

@Nooneknowsbutme if you find anywhere let me know

its like diazepam now - impossible to get

Thecows · 22/05/2026 23:07

Just ask your gp for a couple although it doesn't seem particularly sensible on an airplane to me...

Have you ever taken them?

I was really worried the first time I took a sleeping pill

But actually, if you wake somebody with an emergency, they'd be ready to go - obviously not in the car, but it's happened to me a couple of times and you just wake up normal.

I've taken one on the plane and got two hours kip which really isn't much for a long haul flight. If you suddenly had to evacuate a plane 😱😱😱 you might have an advantage in that you might be a smidge calmer than otherwise, but I imagine the adrenaline would cancel that out very fast.
