recommend rather than going back to Zagreb you fly out of Pula and this means after Slovenia you can pop into croatia and explore Istria : gorgous coastal towns and lots of history.

So we did something similar in late August 2022, I do think having a car would make a huge difference to your trip. I recommend using idealrent who are a local Slovenian company based in Lake Bled, we picked up and dropped off in Bled, but I have seen on Facebook that they will bring the car to Zagreb or wherever you need it. The costs were very reasonable and they were great, although slow to reply initially. We did a combination of car hire and train to cut costs, so flew into Zagreb and immediately took the train to Ljubljana. Spent a day in Ljubljana and then took the train to Bled in the evening. We had 4 days in Bled, 3 of which we had a car for visiting Lake Bohinj, Skocjan caves and Predjama castle and Vingter Gorge. Loved all of these trips. On the day without the car we walked a circuit of Lake Bled, visited the castle and rowed a boat out to the island in the middle of the lake. There are some gorgeous view points on Mala Osojnica at the western end of Lake Bled. The problem with the train travel was there were maybe 4 trains a days crossing the border between Croatia and Slovenia and they were pretty full in summer, and at quite irregular times. This might have improved since Croatia joined the Schengen zone. One solution to that is to Uber to the border and get on a domestic Slovenian train, or vice versa to get back to Croatia, with hindsight we should have done this as we waited 3 hours for the next train when we arrived in Zagreb. We have also been to Plitvice Lakes on a different trip back in 2018. It's stunning, one of my favourite places, although Lake Bled is up there too. We had a car when we went there too. I think you could get there on a tour from Zagreb, but then you are tied to a set itinerary. We spent 2 days there exploring on our own. Whatever you decide you will have a fab trip.

My idea is of staying 3 nights somewhere near bled (dont know exactly which town ) than 3 nights near logar valley than 3 nights near plitvice lakes croatia..I would like to find some nice glamping tree house place to stay in
