Can't comment on who you should book with but we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel (has pool - and yes we did use it). It was great, literally right in park and right beside Eurostar drop off so could go in and out at our leisure. Allegedly five star and it is very very nice but our room was more 4 star I think.

We went earlier this month and stayed at Davy Crockett's ranch in a log 'cabin' (mobile home with wood cladding). It was great and has a lovely pool with slide and spas but it's a five-minute drive from Disneyland itself. Some of the other Disney hotels have shuttle buses to take you to the parks. The Disneyland Hotel looks out over the parks but is expensive.
We booked directly with Disney. I shopped around online and couldn't really do it any cheaper. And their packages include the park tickets. Also if you stay in a Disney hotel you get to go into the parks 2 hours earlier than other people.
Have a look at their site. They have pics and details of all the hotels.

We stayed at Newport Bay, lovely sized rooms, and a pool, that we did use.

You can walk to the park or take the shuttle bus. We always walked.

We booked with Disney.

Sequoia Lodge also has a pool but we didn't get around to using it ! Also a nice looking outdoor play area. We booked direct last time as we drove anyway. Our room overlooked the lake but it was fairly noisy as they had late night open air entertainment opposite. dd was almost 3 when we stayed there and we took a buggy for her but it was about 10 -15 mins stroll.

We are going in September, we couldnt get direct route from st pancreas to eurodisney (had to change at lille and seemed a faff) so we are going from ashford to eurodisney but they only run direct trains once a day so we leave to go there around 9.30am on monday and only train coming home on thursday was 7.30pm so we'll have 2 tired, grumpy dd's on the way home (but couldnt face the thought of changing trains etc with all the tatt souveniors they'll buy

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and used their shuttle bus which was very convenient. The hotel was lovely(great buffet breakfast included in price and leisure facilities which we did not have time to use) and we got a great deal that included entry tickets for Disney. We did the booking for the hotel on the holiday inn website. Cant be of any help re Eurostar travel as we took the car.

Just came back from Holiday Inn yesterday, Great hotel, buses r un every 7 mins to parks or you can walk which we did twice and that took about 20 mins..great buffet breakfast and the hotel had a pool.

Fully agree about the Holiday Inn, fantastic value for money, throughly enjoyed it all despite the rain!

Reviving this as we hope to go end of August but am a bit at prices quoted so far. Looking for 4 days/nights and most over £700. Any bargains ? Will have our car so no additional travel.

LIZS · 13/05/2008 17:27

Do the Holiday Inn prices include the Disney passes ?
