Center Parks Oak

Hi all!
We're going to Center Parcs Longleat in October and I've just seen that we've been allocated a lodge in the Oak area. We've been many times before, but never stayed in this area. Has anybody stayed in one of these before? Just debating whether to stick with what we've been allocated or pay to select a lodge elsewhere.
From memory these lodges are on the main road down by the boating lake, and not particularly ticked away in the forest.
Any photos/experience from others would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

Had a 2 bedroom woodland lodge in Oak area, which was 5 mins walk to the lake and about 30 mins walk up a hill to the plaza and pool. The land train stop was only 2 mins away and ran every 20 mins which was handy for when we weren't feeling that energetic, but sometimes it was full but the time it got to us. It’s probably not an area you’d want to stay in if the weather was foul or if you have small children.

We’ve just come back from Longleat. In terms of facilities, Oak is good as it’s close to the sports plaza and the lake. But Longleat is very hilly so it’s also the worst as you have to walk up the hill to get anywhere else. But there is a land train if that’s too difficult.

Ok so if we don't mind the hill then it's an ok location and the lodges themselves are nice?

Yes the lodges are nice and we got loads of wildlife right by ours.
