Spending £10k on a European AI summer holiday 2025

Please can you share links with me for any hotels you have stayed in that fit this description. Looking towards the luxury end but with a top budget of £10k peak holiday season.

Not Turkey, Crete, Santorini or Bulgaria please as we've done those already. But anything else I will consider.

Must haves:

All inclusive hotel
2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin ('family room' can sometimes mean all in one room and that isn't peaceful with my kids!) Can be interconnecting or 2 bedrooms within 1.
Kids club
On a sandy beach
Multiple swimming pools
Multiple restaurants
Decent evening entertainment and ability to get a table/good view after dinner.
No issues with getting a sunbed at 9/9.30am (this is crucial because fighting for a bed or getting up early isn't restful!)
4/5 star and 4/5 rating on TripAdvisor (DH pays a lot of attention to this).

Ideally a waterpark/water slides onsite or nearby
Extra points for a trampoline and mini golf 😂

All advice and links appreciated. TIA.

The Tivoli in Alvor, Algarve doesn’t have a sandy beach but there is one a short walk away from the hotel and I can’t really comment about the evening entertainment as I had a 2 year old who was asleep before it started! BUT, it was a lovely clean hotel, no sunbed fights, multiple pools, kids clubs food was lovely with multiple restaurants & the staff were really friendly and attentive

Thank you for responding! We love the look of it but kids are huge beach fans whereas I'm not so just 'popping' to the beach for the afternoon because it's just there is easiest for us. But I appreciate the idea. It looks great!

I’m not sure in the age of your kids or the exact dates, but if you book direct you can get a family room (which is two interconnecting rooms) at Ikos Oceania for about £8.5k for a week. That also includes private transfers so you’d just need to sort your flights. We’ve been and it is fabulous and it ticks all your boxes other than mini golf, trampoline and water park.

How old are the kids and are you looking for more of a party place or a relaxing one? If the latter, we really liked Atrium Prestige in Rhodes. Family rooms are a double, a twin and living room. There is a kids club, but it's fairly quiet. Ours had a great time, but there were no hordes of other kids like in some more kid oriented places.
No issues with sunbeds. And they have an app so you can order your food and drinks directly to your sunbed.
As many rooms have their own pools, many people tend to stay there during daytime, so it felt like the hotel was almost empty even when it was fully booked.
And they can't do enough for you. whatsapp manager that you'd like to rent a yacht for a day, and organise fireworks on the beach - no problem.

Thanks for the responses. They will be 10 and 12 by the time we go. £10k was for a fortnight so £8.5k for a week might be over budget but I can check it out.

I’m not sure 5k per week will be luxury but maybe a decent 4*?

That's almost certainly good enough for us!

Ikos. They are all over Greece and Spain.

Atrium Rhodes hmmmm….is next to a beach where there are human turds in the access tunnel. You get big groups of loud men from Turkey and Israel who take over the pools playing ball games.
No where to wander in the evenings unless you like filthy, congested roads with broken narrow pavements, very run down.
Taxi to Rhodes town is good though.
Harvester style food and service at “lobster night”. Not true 5 star imho.

You won't get an Ikos within 10k, even for a week.

Costa Botanica (Grecotel) in Corfu: 10k would be there or thereabouts in peak season, I'd think. Next to a beach, has its own waterpark and two big pools. No issues getting sunbeds with shade at any time of the day as there's so much space (it's set on park type thing). There are interconnecting family rooms - we had one. AI, with a few different restaurants to try as well as the usual buffet (plus places doing ice creams and crepes in the day), and the food is pretty good. Evening entertainment was quite laid-back; there's a big square and families just hang out with the occasional fire-breather or film for the little ones. We've just come back and had a lovely time; I'm trying to think of downsides in the interests of balance - I didn't see a trampoline...
