Eurocamp La Garangeoire First Time Advice

Hey everyone. So I've decided we are going to try out our first Eurocamp and have decided to go to la garangeoire. We only plan to go for 3/4 nights in August 25 as we then have an Airbnb booked by the sea for a week. I've seen you can book direct with la garangeoire or book with Eurocamp but I wasn't sure which option was the cheapest. Eurocamp is currently having their sale on bookings but you can't book direct with la garangeoire until November so not sure if we are better to wait and book direct or book now with Eurocamp. We just want the basic static mobile home with 2 bedrooms. I have a one year old and four year old but don't plan on using the kids club. Any advice regarding booking with Eurocamp or direct? Thanks so much everyone.

Are you sure you can book for 3/4 nights?
In August it is mostly 7 or 14 nights Saturday to Saturday reservations.

We went directly and it was €1200 for a week, not sure how that compares

@user1471428569 so you can book a minimum of 4 nights on Eurocamp and if you book directly they have a minimum of 3 nights in their basic mobile homes with check in on any day.

That is great to know. Thanks

@Skykidsspy thanks so much, it's working out at £700 for 4 nights in August for us at the moment with Eurocamp....no idea if that's good or bad 🤦‍♀️😬

Probably about the same! I would say that their own plots were a bit nicer - more spacious and leafy. I have booked a different site via eurocamp for next year as we’re not doing Saturday to Saturday, and I wanted to get it booked. I’m not sure if you can be flexible with days at the garangeoire. It’s a great site though, you’ll have a fab time!

La Garangeoire's website says minimum 3 nights in August.

@Chersfrozenface I've looked on their accomodation page, under budget range it says:

Terms and flexibility: Minimum 2-night stay, arrival and departure days are flexible, even during peak season!

Minimum 3 nights in August.

We went three times and always booked direct. Didn’t seem much point in booking through a middleman (Eurocamp). They have their own kids club - though my kids never used it in the end. Lovely campsite.
