We’re thinking about going to Disneyland Paris next year and we don’t know anyone who’s been so looking for tips. I’ve priced it up and it’s coming out at around £2000 for 3 nights!! My kids will be 11 and 7

any tips would be great!

best time of year to go, best hotels, are the character breakfasts worth it etc

I’d join a Facebook group if I was you, lots of useful tips etc on them… Disneyland Paris for UK guests is good

I’ve been 8 times and never paid anything like that. Can you share more details of what you’re looking for?

Onsite/offsite?
Time of year?
Where are you travelling from and how?

Disneyland Paris for Brits is a great Facebook group, but please search before posting questions as the same stuff gets asked sooooo many times every day.

We've been 3 times

Do

go mid week Tuesday to Thursday best. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are rammed and you will spend all your time queuing.

Stay in one of the hotels. Means you get magic hours in the morning and can stay late in the evening when it's quietest.

Get a good package at least breakfast and dinner. Make your reservations as soon as possible.

We now stay at an airport hotel the night before and last night so can maximise our time at the parks and don't lose time when travelling

You can pay to drop your luggage at the train station and have it delivered and collected from your room

If you can afford it but VIP fast passes for your last full day. Its brilliant

Go to the parade and the evening fireworks at least once. Best place to view the parade is downhill from it's a small life

Join Facebook groups you will get loads of good tips from them

Click and collect lunch options are great. Avoid queues and don't have to fight for seats.

Comfy shoes. We do 40,000 steps a day when there.

Don't

use the magic shuttle if travelling from the airport. It's expensive and takes ages. Train is cheap and fast.

To add we go term time (Scottish) and pay about £500 pp to stay in the comfort club rooms at the Newport

Time of year - if you can go when French kids are in school but Brits off school, it’ll be quieter and cheaper. Think May half term, end of school summer holidays.
