February half term

I'd like to take my DD abroad in February half term, but due to other commitments, can only do Monday to Friday, 4 nights. Ideally somewhere warmish, half board or AI, and no requirement for a car. Is Lanzerote my best bet? Never been, but I understand it to be pleasant at that time of year.

I wasn't impressed by Lanzarote, I would go back to Tenerife (south side) though for a couple of days sun.

Temperatures can be around high teens/low twenties only though.

Playa blanca is the nicest part of Lanzarote. I prefer Tenerife. Don't love either but for a bit of sun and close to home I think they are your best bets.

The southern part of any of the canary islands will give the same range of temperature.

I've been to tenerife, lanzarote and fuerteventura in winter and all were pleasant and very warm when in the sun. Obviously longer sleeves at night kind of temperatures.

The very south of Spain can be warm in February

I should have offered a suggestion - Malaga

Another vote for Malaga. Or if you are happy with culture rather than beach etc then Seville and Granada are also very interesting and likely to get sun,

We did a city break to Rome last February. It was 19 degrees and sunny.

It wasn't a relaxing holiday as we were out and about sightseeing everyday but it was a wonderful city break. We did 4 nights which was a perfect amount of time.

Granada is likely to be a lot cooler than Seville or the coast in February . Malaga or Alicante offer a city/beach break - it won't be warm enough to go in the sea but it can certainly be very pleasant in southern Spain that time of year (ie T shirt weather). You will find some things open in the beach resorts (eg Torremolinos, Benalmadena) but perhaps not everything . And if you are unlucky it can be cool with some rain. I think the Canaries are a bit more predictable in terms of warmer weather .
