That's my neck of the woods.
There are sometimes rock pools on Fily Brigg - check the tide times though.

There is a place called Daynes Dyke near Flamborough with a nature walk and also a path to the beach - rocks no sand.

In Bridlington there is a museum my sis says is brilliant, called, I think "beside the seaside", V cheap and interesting. Sealife Centre in Scarborough - damned expensive though. There's a museum in Filey too - in old town.

Are you at Haven?

Will keep thinking. Have a lovely time.

Daynes Dykes has steep steps for a little way, but other than that is ok for buggy (we managed it with 3wheeler). Also at Flamborough is a pram friendly "sculpture trail", nice views of the sea etc, and in most places fairlt safe to let DCs off (I am PARANOID about cliffs). Sewerby Park near Bridllington has a little zoo and a nice playground here
and Playdale Farm here has an excellent indoor play barn with loads of space. I expect there will be soft play and stuff on your site, but there is one in Carnaby and one near Scarborough if you are stuck. There should be info at your park reception anyway I hope.

HTH, enjoy.

Don't panic, forecast for next week is already looking better...chilly maybe, but not too rainy!
and wednesday looks lovely!

Scarborough is only 5 or 6 miles away and there is a sea life centre there...(expensive! but worth a visit. Buy a local paper, as there are often half price vouchers in for entry.)
There is also an indoor pool there, and a cinema. The castle has a spectacular position but is actually is a bit dull but your 6 year old will lkie running round with a sword and there is a play park just down the hill from the castle.

There are 2 soft play places in scarbrooguh but neither easy to find unless you know the town well...

The rotunda museum and art gallery in scarbroguh are worth bearing in mind for a dry - not too crowded - hour. The gallery often has activities for little ones.
