Saltwater, all inclusive, fun holiday?

Please help me find my holiday unicorn! 🦄
My youngest is allergic to chlorine so the pool needs to be salt water.
I have a tween and a teen so needs to be quite lively.
We all love a bit of all inclusive.
Somewhere warm in October or April.

I've never been to an ai that wasn't chlorinated but I've stayed at places right on a lovely beach, no roads, would that work?

Mitsis Faliraki had freshwater pools I think.

AI and lively (to me anyway!)

Warm in May when we went....

Or try the Lopesan group on Gran Canaria. Think they were freshwater.

Have a look at hotels on Fuerteventura. I think a lot of them have saltwater pools.

It’s not really all inclusive but we ate in the restaurants every night and used the on site supermarket for breakfast so minimal cooking….. LaLandia Billund it’s whole massive water park is salt water!

We are going to Fuerteventura on an all inclusive holiday during the 6 weeks holidays, our hotel states it has has 3 saltwater pools. Not sure if they are heated in April and October but as a previous poster has mentioned a lot of the pools in Fuerteventura are saltwater.

Thanks guys - I have narrowed it down to Fuerteventura- just trying to decide on a hotel that will please my teenager. I’ve found one but it is 2.5 hours airport transfer so trying to find a closer one.

Just a heads up we went to Fuerteventura last October and all pools were icy cold. My kids didn't go near them! Sea was much much warmer than swimming pools.

Bigbottomlip · 20/07/2024 10:27

Yeah, that seems the way with salt pools and they can sting on chaffed skin so Vasaline is key. Unfortunately no choice for us though if my son gets to swim x

Check that the pools are heated if you're going out of the main season - IME a lot of hotels in the Canaries don't heat them and they can be icy cold.
