How chav is Sharm el Sheikh?

We are looking for some winter sun. Looking at Sharm el Sheikh for a week all inclusive. We’ve never done a mass scale tourism hotel before.

Usually we stay in small family run hotels or rent a villa or apartment. Rent a car. Go to restaurants and explore an area.

However we are looking for somewhere very relaxing and an AI 5* seems very attractive.

In house entertainment is our idea of hell - but we could simply not participate.

I’m sorry for the question, but how “Brits Abroad” or “Chav” is Sharm el Sheikh? It’s just not our vibe.

Obviously it isn't a generalisation if someone talks about individual men. And obviously those aren't the posts that I'm referring to. The fact that your reading comprehension skills appear to be limited don't mean that I'm talking "shite". HTH.

The AI food at the Meridien in Makadi Bay was absolutely delicious, and the best I've ever had at an AI hotel. There was absolutely nothing to do in Hurghada itself though.

I've been, the Brits were fine, the huge number of rich, rude, frequently drunk and generally disrespectful Russians was not so good.

If going outside of the hotel it's a good idea to always be with your husband.
