For how many people? Adults or adults and kids? Sunshine or cooler climates?
Cultural or more beach and surf?
Car hire and exploring or more all inclusive and chilling?
Jordan is stunning, that time of year a visit to Petra would be a definite must do, it's nothing like as touristy as Egypt, but it's a cultural crucible and fascinating country with fantastic hospitality, and good for diving.
If a pool and beach is more your thing then I' be tempted with the Caribbean or Florida (America is eye wateringly expensive though, so budget £75-100 a day for food and drink, on the plus side the portions are huge, and the Yanks are brilliant at offering a doggy bag.
If you want stunning scenery and colour the East coast of America would tick those boxes, Maine and Vermont are my favourite states, the people are incredibly warm and welcoming. The covered bridges and little churches which pepper the sweeping landscapes, and diverse wildlife offer fantastic photo opportunities, the rugged Maine cliffs are awe inspiring. The scenery of Vermont is breathtakingly beautiful, the mountains are so wild that'll want to get off the beaten track and walk, but obviously take very sensible precautions, as they can be incredibly dangerous, so read all the dos and don'ts first, and follow local advice to the latter (also be aware that weather conditions can change very quickly, and the days (like ours) are shorter in the winter months, and the wind can be absolutely biting.
If you want culture Vienna would be at the top of the list, and you could possibly look at doing part of the orient express journey (but you'd need to up your budget a bit if it's for two adults, any more than two travellers and it would be way over your budget!
So much depends on what you are looking for, Madeira would still be quite warm, but it's not really a beach holiday destination.
