Resorts with 2 actual bedrooms

I have searched and searched on threads and websites but even the ones that say they have 2 bedrooms only actually have 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. My children (DS13 and DD9) really dont want to share and we dont want to sleep on a sofa bed. We went to a villa on a resort in Tenerife and it was perfect! Just looking for that again really! Please send personal recommendations for somewhere hot in October that has 2 actual bedrooms on a resort/hotel! tia

Lanzarote has lots of bungalow/villa complexes which might suit.

If you go into a Hays Travel shop, they sell Jet2holidays packages which might be the easiest way to find what you're looking for than searching the website yourself, as I think you have to do the basic search, choose a hotel, then click through each one individually to see if they offer different room types.

Iberostar in Tenerife, 3 hotels (4 and 5 star) all have interconnecting rooms. The rooms for the kids have twin beds (not sofa beds) and also means you get a bathroom each.
Also stayed in Greece in October and quite a few hotels we looked at had two separate bedrooms.

Search for a holiday as though you’re actually a 6 and you’ll be shown the 2 bed apartments.

Yes this. It may give you some weird pricing, but once you have narrowed it down, you can be more precise. Airbnb and the likes do allow you to state 2 bedrooms, but I always check the bedroom config because you would probs prefer twin beds in one of them. As an aside (and it won't suit as it is not a hot destination in October, but just for anyone else looking) Explorers hotel in Disneyland was always good for us with 6, it had a little room off with bunk beds for the older children, and two double beds for us to cope with the two younger ones, nothing in DLP is cheap, but the bed config was quite good there and wasn't bad given it slept all six in a comfortable and safe way.

Oh why is it so hard to find somewhere to accommodate children not on a sofa bed.

Last year we found a hotel which had a king bed and a proper single bed in one room.

This year the travel agent said it’s impossible to find a family room with a proper bed. DC is tall for age and just 14 so I think technically classed as an adult.

Barcelo, Golf Del Sur, Tenerife - 2 bedrooms, we had them set up as 2 twins as was with my Mum. Massive rooms with their own bathrooms with bath and shower and separate balconies BUT one main door to the outside. Went with my twin teens and it was ideal. Food and drinks were fantastic as was resort facilities including entertainment.

Club Sun Village Apartments, Dalaman

Morasol Suites in Puerto Rico, Grand Canaria. The twin room however is in between the double room and the rest of the apartment including the bathroom, so you'd have to walk through the twin room.

I've also done the online chat on (I think) Jet2 website, and got good answers about specific hotels.
