What kind of water to use for baby bottle abroad?

Hello,

We’re off on a family holiday in three weeks from Scotland to Gran Canaria with our 10 month old. I’m just looking it some advice on how we should safely make bottles up when we’re away? Obviously it’s not advised to use tap water from another country and I know that sodium levels in bottled water need to be considered.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I always bought and used Evian when abroad. Low sodium content and universally considered one of the safest waters for babies

I always used Evian too.

Evian is good. I also used cristalline. In Europe, mineral water that is safe for babies has a picture of a baby with a bottle on it. They don't use tap water in Europe for babies.

Many French parents use Evian. But it's expensive. Any mineral water with low sodium (look for Na or NA+ with a number less than 50) should do.

Bezoya is a large Spanish brand with very low mineral content (Na 2.04, so basically negligible). It's available everywhere.

Also, if you need nappies, Pampers are called Dodot in Spain.

As Samarrange said, Bezoya in Spain.
It's the only one DM would drink too as she has allergies.
