Right going to leave Babington House booked for now and look for something else

with no or fewer kids
with a pool
less than £200 a night
between Wiltshire (where we have to be the FRiday) and Cornwall (where we have to be the Monday)

Any ideas, gratefully received.

That Millers looks interesting. Went to a wedding at Millers Academy in London at Christmas was a very eccentric and erm full.

mmm the fishing looks good as is Fly,

and thank God it has a helipad!

Tresanton might be nice, spent my childhood holidays in Roseland. might be lovely and nearby for picking up kids on Monday.

CountessDracula · 09/04/2008 13:36

oh tits

try again

WideWebWitch · 09/04/2008 13:39

The Lugger is a v no kids place. Had lunch there with my (well behaved) two and felt like a pariah. A complete waste of £100 or whatever it was. I'd have rather they hadn't let us in than agreed to the table and then been snotty.

WideWebWitch · 09/04/2008 13:39

Burgh Island lovely but waaay more than £200 a night It hink isn't it?

CountessDracula · 09/04/2008 13:46

well so is Babington!

Actually is from £285 per room per night including dinner so not really over budget given that one would be hard pushed to get a decent meal for two for £85

NorksDrift · 09/04/2008 13:51

Don't you have to wear black tie in the evenings to eat at Burgh Island?

WideWebWitch · 09/04/2008 13:51

true cd

Flum · 09/04/2008 20:14

oooh black tie appealing. DH v dishy in DJ. we just looked at that. is pricey. but as you say so is Babington house.

Bit worrying when I realised this weekend would cost more than our family ski holiday

gonna keep looking.

Millers place is the favourite at the moment.
