Making flight more comfotable

Will be flying on a dreamliner to Caribbean and have heard that the seats are very uncomfortable/hard.

Looking for suggestions for seat cushion or other ideas to make the journey better. Also any other tips for long haul flight as haven't done one for a few years.

What airline? I've not found the seats hard or uncomfy at all!

The dreamliner is very comfortable. Who told you they were uncomfortable?- are they used to travelling business class rather than economy?
You can pay for premium seats which gives a little more room, but imo, those seats aren't worth the money.
They do give you a cushion and blanket.
I don't really know how you could make it more comfortable other than bringing your own blanket/pillow. And wear comfy clothes.
Hope you enjoy!

I found the TUi dreamliner seats really uncomfortable.

Top tip if you're short, you need something that you can use as a foot rest.

It’s a day of your life, it won’t be as uncomfortable as a bad office chair, or spending all day on your feet if that’s what your job requires. And you can drink wine and watch movies. Plus they will give you a pillow. Just lean into it being a lazy day.

It is Tui and I saw reviews saying they are hard and narrow! I've never flown anything other than economy!

That's all well and good but if your back starts hurting after 4 hours it's not so easy to relax and forget it. Abd they don't bring enough wine to blot out 5 hours of discomfort!

tui "dreamliner" (it's just a 787, don't know why they make such a fuss about it, it's just an ordinary plane) seats are very uncomfortable, I don't have any advice I'm afraid other than hopefully you are in a convenient seat to get up easily abd have lots of walks up and down. At least on the outbound you can console yourself with the thought that you'll soon be on holiday. They have a form of candy crush on the games, this keeps me sane. To the poster that said they found it a very comfortable flight, that entirely depends on the carrier, Boeing just supply the plane, the operating company decide on the fit out abd the seats, abd tui fill the cabin to capacity with seats which are the most basic there is. If you flew with another airline eg virgin, emirates you may well have had better quality seats

the veggie meal on the way out is tomato abs spinach gnocchi at the moment, it's much nicer than the meat option Dd and Dh had so I'd advise going veggie.
