Orlando Tips.

Hello. I am off to Orlando in October. It's been over 20 years since I was last there and so I know things will have changed massively.

I'm more thinking of places to eat. Does anyone have any recommendations of where I should put on my list? Kid friendly if possible although I would imagine it's all kid friendly. Smile

Thanks very much!

Where are you staying? Places that we enjoyed eating around the International Drive area were The Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, Shake Shack and Dave and Busters.

I went at Easter after not having gone in almost 30 years. Some aspects were completely unchanged but lots totally different. You need to plan with military precision to make the most of your trip but I'm pretty laid back and disorganised by nature and we managed to still do lots.

For food inside Disney, if you download the app you can filter for dining and access the menu of every restaurant. There's also a great YouTube channel called Disney food blog. The Disney hotels also have some nice restaurants and are all easily accessible from the parks by train or bus etc. we tried Sebastian's which was a skyline ride from Hollywood studios. Great meal. Lots of great food choices at the Polynesian resort and we thought the food options in animal kingdom were the best of everything in the parks. Nomad lounge was amazing, great cocktails, and satuli canteen was great for a quick lunch. Outside the resorts I agree with PP, many of the options are big chains but mostly you'll get a decent meal and all family friendly

Sorry. Knew I would miss something staying on IDrjve. I've been recommended Cantina in Hollywood studios as DH and DS (11) are Star Wars fans but in an ideal world I'd like to avoid eating in the parks.

Thanks for YouTube tip. I normally plan plan plan but am trying to take this one in my stride lol. I'll look at the other places as well.

Thank you. Olive garden is on my list with cheesecake. Will look at the others.
