Ryanair - infant baggage?

I've trawled MN but can't find the answer so hoping someone can help. I'm flying on Friday with my baby (3 months). I have the standard baggage (40x20x25).

^The ryanair website says:
We know that travelling with an infant can be stressful, so we allow you to carry 2 items of baby equipment free of charge per child, to make your journey as seamless as possible. There is no cabin bag allowance for an infant (aged 8 days to 23 months inclusive). However, we allow a baby bag up to 5kg (dimensions: 45x35x20cms) for babies travelling on an adult's lap.

Does this mean that my baby gets a bag AND I get a bag?

Has anyone travelled recently and got on with 2?

I don't want to pack 2 bags and get charged £40 for a bag sized for a borrower...

Thank you for any pointers!

Hi, I flew with them a few weeks ago. Yes, you get your normal cabin bag and you can take another one for baby (I.e. a changing bag!)

Yes, I flew in April with my baby. I took his changing bag and I had a cross body bag.

@GoldieMam @TribeofFfive thanks so much!

I will take an extra bag and won't fill my pockets with nappies!
