Euro hotel with kids club, not sporty

I really want to book a hotel for next summer with a kids club, where the kids can go at least 2-4hrs a day. Mark Warner or Neilsons type of thing - but the issue is, neither DH are remotely interested in windsurfing, skiing etc. So we don’t want to pay a premium for activities we won’t do.

Does anyone know any hotels that fit the bill, where kids can go to kids club, but adults can just mosey around/sit by the pool?

I’m finding the Tui search a bit overwhelming, but there must be loads of smaller independent hotels or smaller holiday chains across Europe, similar to Mark Warner etc? Perhaps more locally known?

The Iberostar kids clubs (called Star Camps) are usually pretty varied in activities - but it’s worth checking exactly what is on offer at each place.

How old are your kids?

We enjoyed aqueora suites in Lanzarote and DC loved the kids club.

TUI sensatori or some of their other fancy brands do decent kids clubs with UK staff.

TUI Blue is what you are looking for. Usually the rooms are suited to families too, ie some hotels offer two bedroom option or have the bedroom split with a barrier.

They do good kids clubs, entertainment etc. but aren’t as premium as MW or Nielson.

I stayed in Belek a few years back and they had a good kids club that ran from 10am to midnight, you dropped off and picked up when suited as opposed to fixed sessions (at the time, it was out of school hols though). Hotel was the Voyage but their were similar setups at nearby hotels. Great family room options too.

There are "Kinderhotels" in the Austrian Alps set-up exclusively for families with children.

Each hotel is independently owned, so not a chain hotel, and usually the hotels have been in the same family for generations. They are very often combined with a family-run farm, so they include things like a petting zoo, pony riding, feeding the animals etc. They have supervised play for the children with the usual activities - crafts, baking, climbing frames, ball pools - and usually also a pool, sauna (for the adults), hiking guides etc.
