Disneyland Paris with a baby

We are looking at going to Disneyland Paris just before our baby turns 1. Before anyone says "that's crazy, she won't remember, don't waste your money" we've wanted to go to Paris for ages so we are just thinking we might as well add a day at Disneyland on. Plus I've got a ridiculous amount of holidays to use from work before the end of the year!

We are looking at doing 5 days in Paris total, with just one day at Disneyland. I know there's two parks but I don't think we need to do both really.

For anyone who's done this before, would you stay in Paris the whole time and get the train for the day? Or do 1 or 2 nights at a hotel near Disneyland?

Any recommendations for places to stay would be amazing!

We stayed in val de Europe. Hotel Elysee and used free shuttle bus to get to Euro Disney. They had a train station over the road so used this to get into Paris. I would prob get a two park ticket then you can see both they have a stitch show at universal.its very busy and personally found it quite over whelming.

If you've wanted to go to Paris for ages I wouldn't waste a day at Disneyland.

If you love Disney and really want to go to Disneyland I'd spend at least a couple of days there.

It's not really worth doing either half-arsed.

Don't worry about the baby, as you say they won't know, care or remember so
do what suits you best.

it means though you won’t be able to go on rides unless you take turns which means lots of hanging about.

Honestly it’s not worth it for a day. There is so much to do there you need at least three nights and wait until baby is at least 6.

personally I’d spend the time in Paris exploring.

You can do a parent swap and there are lots of rides you can take babies on with no height limit plus the shows. We will be taking my nearly 1 year old I can't wait.
