Majorca with young kids

Hello - I need some advice-
I’ve booked a holiday for my family to Majorca, which includes two toddlers. We’re staying in Sa Coma, which I’ve been told is a great place for families/children. But I didn’t realise that Majorca only has one airport, which means we’ll be sharing a flight with people flying to Magaluf, which I’ve heard has a bad reputation. My main concern is that the flight itself will be full of stag/hen parties which doesn’t feel appropriate for a young kids. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this? For reference we’d be flying mid June but could change it for September if the flight is likely to be more child friendly. Thanks in advance

👋 Hey, I’ve flown to Majorca with my 2 young kids the last 3 years in June, to Sa coma and Cala bona. The flights have always been calm and wonderful no yobs. I wouldn’t worry about it :) plus at least it’s only a couple of hours on the plan if your flying from the UK :)
September is actually really busy on the Balearic Islands for party goers as there is the season closing parties so changing the holiday to then wouldn’t make much sense anyway!
enjoy your holiday 🤩🤩🤩

No stag dos on my ryanair flight this week. There were a couple of hen parties out there, but we didn't go to magaluf!

Magaluf is a resort where a lot of families go. It's not some kind of Mediterranean Gomorrah, and there are no special "90% going to Magaluf, good luck everyone else" flights. In fact probably only 10% of the people on your flight will be going there. You are just as likely to get a bunch of drunk people on a flight to Ibiza or Zante or Cyprus, or a stag party going to Tallinn or Prague.

Even if there are a few likely lads and/or lasses on board your flight, the cabin crew will stop anything getting out of hand and you won't notice anything from more than 3 or 4 seats away. Certainly changing from June to September will make no difference whatsoever.

For what it's worth I've flown to Majorca over 50 times, at various times of the year, and I don't think I've heard even slightly raised voices more than twice.

I've been loads of times and never had problems. There are tens of flights a day from the UK to Palma so proportionately, very few people per flight will be heading to Magaluf.

Don't change anything, you can't tell what you'll get based on June compared to September.

Sa Coma is great for families, you'll have such a good time.

What on earth do you think they will be doing on a 2.5hr flight that will be inappropriate for toddlers?! Flights aren’t like 3am nightbus.

We go to Mallorca heaps and never had a stag or hen on the plane.

Heaps of screaming kids mind.

We fly to Majorca most years and stay in a little inland town where we don't hear an English voice for the entire week. Never encountered any yobs yet on a flight.

It's totally fine.

I've flown to Majorca quite a few times. We always go with Jet2 now. EasyJet and Ryan Air flights in the past have had some pretty awful passengers. Not just stag and hens. Majorca is expensive this year so might not have as many arseholes.

Not had an issue at all. We had two slightly hungover young women on the plane home from Majorca but they just fell asleep 😂
