Paulton’s Park break advice.

We’re taking our 3 year old to Paulton’s Park for her birthday as she’s obsessed with Peppa Pig. We’ll have our 18 month with us as well. We’re going on a Monday and Tuesday, term time in June. We’ve booked a short break deal so we get the 2nd day in the park free. It’ll be her actual birthday when we’re there so we’re excited for her!

Looking for advice on anything and everything really! Food places and prices, queues, things to avoid, things to definitely do. Advice on what to take with toddlers etc to make the most of our time there. We’re travelling 4 hours to get there so don’t want to forget anything!

thank you! 😊

Food is ok but expensive. Take snacks. There is a morrisons about 5-10min drive from paultons and a mcdonalds not far away.

I think the food is awful personally. Take a picnic. Download the app for queue times, generally very low queues in the morning and shortly before closure. And at lunchtime! Be at the entrance at opening time, you can do lots of rides early.

take spare clothes and if it’s sunny take swim gear, there is a splash area and the “muddy puddles” area. Take a buggy or hire one there. Kids will be tired and overwhelmed.
prepare for the big gift shop at the exit 🫣😂

all the peppa rides for this age are nice and they will enjoy them. Don’t think there is lots at the other side of the park for them.

check if there is a birthday board and submit her name. Legoland do those can’t remember if Paulton’s do.

Have fun!

Get there before park opens and you'll be at the front of the queue.
Download the app for map and queue times - go straight to PPW and do those rides first until the queues get big (or the constant PP music drives you bonkers) and then do other areas of the park. PPW gets quiet again at lunch and before closing.
Food-wise they are good with food brought in and plenty of benches under cover to eat a picnic.
If you have two pushchairs (or a double) take it - three yo will be tired by end of day.

I would take a picnic, I think we did this both times we went. Outside of Peppa pig world there is a jungle safari ride which I think would suit, it's called dinosaur tour company. Also if the 3 year old is 90cm tall then you can go on buffalo falls. It's like a raft you ride down a waterslide, which I think is fun and you can ride as pair. You don't generally get soaked but the raft may be a bit wet. Farmyard flyer and the driving school also have height limits of 90cm. There are a couple of other mini coasters, the caterpillar one and a dinosaur one, depending on how brave she is. I have always avoided the shop at the exit somehow! You'll have a great time, it's one of my favourite parks as the queues are normally fairly short outside of Peppa pig world.
