Tips for travel with 4.5m old

Hello!
Have a 5 day trip booked to Greece in June with our little one.

Will be warm - between 25-30deg, at an all inclusive, 20 mins away from airport (coach travel).

Baby is mainly breastfeeding and takes 2/3 formula top ups per day. Currently sleeps in bedside crib, we don't bed share and don't want to!

Would love any tips and tricks for holiday essentials, planning etc.
Mainly concerned about the heat and keeping her cool/hydrated.

Thank you in advance :)

Take an inflatable or collapsible baby bath and a travel black out blind.

I think you can get a special cover that goes over the pushchair for shade, they are made from material that doesn't increase the heat once it's on. You can also buy a shade cover for the cot in the room that would help with daytime naps.

Lots of the kids pools we have been don't have shade so if you are going to get a little float seat get one with a built in sunshade.

I would also pack more nappies than you need for the flight just incase of a delay. We got a little travel changing pack, it's so handy, it has space for wipes, nappies and has a zip off changing mat. I got it from EBay for £5. We have used it on every holiday since.

We're just back from Turkey with our 4.5 month old, where the temperature was similar. It's worth checking what your hotel can/will provide - ours supplied changing mats, wipes, baby bath, cot and would also have supplied a buggy (though we brought our own). We brought a proper ventilated sunshade for the buggy and made sure he had plenty of suncream on. Re. staying hydrated, she'll probably just let you know by breastfeeding more, so it's you who needs to make sure you have plenty of water and extra snacks available! Also don't forget to take spare clothes for yourself as well as the baby for the journey - we've been caught out this way before and ended up having to travel covered in sick and wee.
