Disney Paris Accommodation with 2 teens?

Bearwithsorehead · 16/04/2024 12:00

Looking at the Disney hotels in Paris and they seem to all be rooms with 2 double beds. My DS(16) and DD(13) would prefer not to share a bed. I also would prefer a family suite so their beds aren't in my bedroom as I'm an early nighter! When we went to Disney in LA we stayed in a great hotel only a short walk from the park in a family room with 2 separate bedroom areas. Anyone know of any accommodation close to the park that would offer this? Not sure we can afford to pay for 2 hotel rooms at Disney prices X

I think I'd prefer walking distance to the park rather than driving if possible. We're only looking at going for 3 or 4 days. We might even do the Eurostar and not take the car.

There are loads of air bnbs near the Val D’Europe shopping centre, which is either one stop along on the train to Disney, or walkable in about 20 minutes. Might be your best option.

You might struggle with the walkable hotels. I took DS 14 and DD 15 and ended up sharing a double bed with DD. Not ideal but better than paying for an extra room. I couldn't find any family type rooms. Eurostar is super easy - use the luggage transfer as well.

Thanks, I'll have a look. It's great to hear from ppl who've been so you don't end up in a dodgy part of town!

Yes I was thinking maybe I could share with DD and he share with DS. Always good to get advice from mumsnetters I find.

Got a 'reasonable' deal at Sequoia lodge, might be worth checking there. Walkable to park saved a fortune and saved on time and a swimming pool you don't need to pre-book.

No I’ve stayed at Marvel and Newport Bay, there isn’t a lot in it expect the design really. The rooms are fairly similar. Downtown at Marvel is brilliant restaurant. Sorry doesn’t answer your where to stay.

There are loads of Facebook pages and tonnes of advice on these pages. I’m sure someone will be able to suggest an apartment they’ve stayed in.
